Tartan Graphics NEW PRINT-ON-DEMAND Service We incorporated in 2006 as a Print-on-Demand
service in order that anyone could be published without being refused
dozens of times or spending thousands of dollars and printing hundreds
of books to sit in storage gathering dust. We have been involved in printing and publishing
since 1969 and during this time have gathered extensive knowledge
regarding book printing. One thing we learnt very early was to keep up
with the times and if you are able to type then, with a few simple
instructions you may soon virtually be able to send your product
directly to press. Now! Don’t get me wrong; possibly not
the first time, but for sure the third or forth time. So whether it is a
story about grandma or your favorite pet even moms best cookies, for
you and your family or just a few friends. We will put your project in
print for you with a professional look. It could be
a picture book of family weddings or reunion. This is just the way to
produce a record for all time at very little cost, and the best thing is
you won’t need to order more then what you actually require. The
staff at Tartan Graphics are willing and able to do all this for you at
very little extra cost; things like book page design and layout, cover
design etc. Our primary function is to put into your hands your book, we
even help with a few marketing tools to help you promote your print-on-demand book. So
if your book has 12 pages or 1200 we can be of service to you. One of
our objectives is to add you to our list of our many happy clients or
just a good friend of Tartan Graphics. Print-on Demand
sounds quite simple and it is if you understand book printing, and that
is the key; and at TG we understand books. We can help you produce a
quality printed book in minimum quantities in a short time frame. To
simplify the print-on-demand process contact Tartan Graphics first
because the first question you have already asked yourself is (Where do I
start?). The answer to that can be very simple, contact TG at
(office@tgltd.ca) it may save you lots of frustration. We will ensure you get your book publishing project off on the right foot. Here
are some features: once you have decided you want your project
published then contact TG we will print for you five (5) soft cover
books at a cost of $485.00. Your manuscript should be in a Word
document; however, other programs may be acceptable. These details may be worked out after your first step (contacting TG staff of course). At
this point your first objective is to start publishing your book. 1)
The cover full color laminated.2) Body text black (photos if you scanned
them should be a minimum 300 dpi)3) Standard size 5.25 X 8 maximum
(other sizes on request) 4) Page count up to 172 pages
PRINT-ON-DEMAND OPTIONS: These are a few additional services or options. Color
photos on inside – in house scanning -- cover design -- page layout –
registration for copy right and submit your book to national library
service, posting you publication on our sight or with Amazon etc if that
